Ryan Kanaskie, PGA
Head Golf Professional
Ryan grew up in Danville, PA. He is went to Penn State and enrolled in their Professional Golf Management Program. Ryan gratuated from the Professional Golf Management Program at Penn State in 2003. Upon graduation Ryan was offered the First Assistants Golf Professional Position at Hampshire Greens Golf Course in Silver Spring Maryland. In August of 2004 Ryan was elected in to membership with the PGA of American. On January 1st, 2005 Ryan took his first Head Golf Professional position at Willow Spring Golf Course in West Friendship, Maryland. After spending 2 ½ years at Willow Ryan had a desire to get back into the private side of the business and took the Head Golf Professional job at Walden Country Club in Crofton Maryland. Ryan also spent 2004-2006 seasons as the Director of Instruction for the First Tee of Washington DC.

Eric Kline is Lewistown Country Club’s
Golf Course Superintendent
A native of the area, Eric grew up working at Lewistown Country Club for his father Jay Kline, and brings a wealth of knowledge to LCC.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Eric graduated from the Penn State University Turfgrass Program in 1994. Eric has previously been an Assistant Superintendent in Maryland and also at Centre Hills Country Club in State College. More recently, Eric was Superintendent at Huntington Country Club for three years and at Nittany Country Club for seven years. Additionally, Eric has served on the Pennsylvania Golf Course Superintendents Association Board of Directors and various positions, including President, in the Keystone Association of Golf Course Superintendents. Eric interned at Hershey Country Club assisting with preparations for the 2001 Lady Keystone Open and volunteered for the Nissan Open at Riveria Country Club in Los Angeles.

Eric resides in Yeagertown with his wife Mary Ann and their three children Tristen, Trinity, and Tyler.

Jay Kline is Lewistown Country Club’s
Assistant Golf Course Superintendant
Jay was head Golf Course Superintendent at LCC from 1973 thru 2008 when he and his son Eric switched roles. Jay continues to work at LCC imparting his knowledge, wisdom and experience to the grounds staff. He also acts as the Club’s Historian.

Jay is a graduate of the Penn State University School of Turfgrass Management and is a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. He has held numerous positions with the Keystone Association of Golf Course Superintendents and currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer. He has also been a contributor to Golfdom Magazine.

Jay and his wife Nancy reside in Reedsville. They have two sons, Dan is employed by Penn State University in the Turf Department and Eric is Superintendent at Lewistown Country Club.

Cindy Henry is Lewistown Country Club’s
Food and Beverage Manager
Cindy oversees the operation of the LCC Malhotra Room, the Club’s banquet facility as well as the Grill Room and handles all food service requirements and event functions at the Club. She is also involved in golf tournaments and outings servicing culinary needs. Cindy says “If you are planning a function, I want Lewistown Country Club to be the first place that comes to mind.”

The Malhotra Room, with its panoramic view of the Juniata River, is available to provide for a distinctive experience for wedding receptions, anniversary, birthday, and holiday parties, class reunions, retirement parties, civic group meetings, baby and bridal showers, as well as any variety of business functions.

The Grill Room caters to the desires of the golf members, families, and guests with varied and delectable food and drink offerings whether at the turn, an afternoon enjoying the pool, or for a relaxing lunch or dinner.

Vinny Rhodes is Lewistown Country Club’s
Business Manager
Vinny handles the day to day business operations of the Club including managing members’ accounts, organizing the Club’s documents and files, administering financial accounts, web site administration, and is the Club’s first point of contact for normal business matters.

She also works closely with the Board of Directors as well assisting with its function.

Vinny is always eager to assist members, potential members, or guests by providing information, answering questions, and accepting comments and suggestions from the members.
